About us
A garage, a lathe,
and a lot of stubborn quality.
Holtwood Machine started in 1997 in my garage, making parts on the side for the company I worked for. The side job kept growing. In 2003 we moved into our facility on Holtwood Road, in the river hills of Southern Lancaster County, and went full time.
We're still small, still family owned and operated, and we like it that way. The business is built around God's principles of honesty and integrity: work hard, do the job right, stand behind what you make. We are committed to upholding Biblical family values.
What that means for a customer is simple. When you call, you talk to someone who will actually make your part. When we quote, we quote promptly. When something isn't right, we make it right — no committee, no runaround.

General notes
How we work
Note 1 — Quote promptly
Every RFQ gets a quick turnaround. A model, a print, a sketch on a napkin, the worn part in a box — send what you have and we'll tell you what it takes.
Note 2 — Make it right
Careful setups, modern equipment, CMM inspection. We stand behind our work; that sentence does a lot of lifting and we mean all of it.
Note 3 — Keep it simple
No layers between you and the spindle. One family, one shop floor, one phone number: (717) 284-0890.
